George Latus is the owner of Team Latus Motors Harley Davidson/Buell dealership located in Gladstone, Oregon.
In addition to his successful Harley Davidson/Buell dealerships, George also is heavily involved in various racing activities. His racing involvement includes: the primary sponsorship of Joe Kopp and Brady Mueller, racers for the AMA Flat Track series, primary sponsorship of Josh Bryan and Alan Schmidt, racers for the AMA Pro Road Racing series and primary sponsorship for Steve Dorn, Top Fuel racer for the All Harley Drag Racing series. George Latus also had racers compete on Buell motorcycles at the 2nd oldest racing event in the country, the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
Latus’ involvement in racing stems from a love of competition, love of seeing the new racers on top Harley Davidson/Buell equipment and as he said, “the motorcycle business has been very good to me and this is a way of giving back”.
