Ten years ago, Harley-Davidson released the 2002 V-Rod, a high-end series of extreme cruisers that took America by storm. One look at this bike’s aggressively styled physique proved it was no ordinary cruiser. Given its decade of success, Harley-Davidson has released a 10th Anniversary edition V-Rod to commemorate this unique and exciting motorcycle. Take a closer look at some of this bike’s features.

• Style: One thing that made the Harley-Davidson V-Rod, and its entire VRSC family, so unique over the last decade was its more modern aesthetic. Though unmistakably cruiser-esque, the VRSC series of motorcycles has always been a little bit different in terms of style. The 10th Anniversary V-Rod retains the unique body style in the progressive spirit of the VRSC family, with a few neat improvements: integrated LED stop-turn tail lights, a flush-mounted LED headlight, and a sportier rear spoiler and front-end.
   
• Comfort: The 2012 V-Rod has a number of other great updates that make this bike safer and more comfortable. The H-D Smart Security System offers Harley owners an automatic-arming security system triggered by an exclusive key fob. The V-Rod’s ergonomics have also been redesigned with closer footrests and handlebars for enhanced comfort no matter your stature.
   
• Performance: The 10th Anniversary Harley-Davidson V-Rod retains the Porsche-designed Revolution engine that was introduced in the 2002 model. The Revolution is an 1130cc V-twin fuel-injected engine that pushes 125 horses. Liquid cooling and dual overhead cams mean this Harley is ready for the road ahead no matter what.

Latus Harley Davidson is proud to offer this Black 2003 Harley Davidson Sportster XL1200C with 24,914 miles for sale. 2003 was the 100th Anniversary of the Harley Davidson Motor Company. This pictured 2003 Harley Davidson Sportster XL1200C has the iconic 100th Anniv. Silver Stripe over its Vivid Black paint. Looks good and is getting rarer as the years go by. This bike had 24,9xx miles on it when it was traded in so we just went ahead and did a full 25,000 service. So, the next owner will have a well serviced, properly optioned motorcycle that is ready to ride with no extra expenses. The most obvious option is the custom bobbed tail. It makes the bike look like a mini-Dyna Wide Glide. My favorite upgrade is a stepped, two-into-two exhaust system that looks like a Bassani, with a high flow matched force-winder intake system, These systems pump out the H.P. and make a Harley sound as Willy G. intended. Come on in and start it up and see if you agree with me. Other options of note are a padded back rest-good for your passenger and therefore good for you; relocated directional signals front and rear; custom foot pegs; a frenched head light and a few other goodies I forgot to write down. Sportsters are all about being fun to ride and this one deserves a thorough test ride-which we love to give.
