Bike of the week: 2012 TRIUMPH THRUXTON 900
IronHead Steve sayz:
Simple recipe: Take the proven mechanicals from the Triumph Bonneville series; add a set of cafe' racer handle bars; add an 18" front wire wheel; install a cool "do the ton" seat (no saddle here); bend the exhaust up "the way it was"; put the analog instruments (speedo and tach) right in front of the riders face; give it the name of a revered English race track (Thruxton) that was earned in racing success by Triumph and keep the price low. Oh yes-give it a paint job that says-"I want it!". And that my friends is a "Thruxton". This 2012 Triumph Thruxton was purchased here and was traded in on a Daytona 675R. It has 257 miles on it and the vast majority of the 24 month factory warranty remains. The only difference between this Triumph and a new one is a substantial price savings. Sound interesting? Call Dave, our Triumph Manager and set up a test ride to find out why the Cafe' Racer craze is so strong. P.S. for those in hibernation, we are proud to be newest Factory Authorized Triumph dealer in Oregon offering both sales, service and English Tea. (#533095)
